Objective
The European Nutrition Leadership Programme (ENLP) seminars are targeted at the European nutrition researchers in their final year of their Phd studies or soon after obtaining their Phd's. The seminars aim at developing a cadre of young nutrition scientists throughout Europe. Such a cadre can contribute to European co-operation in working towards improving the nutrition and health status of European. Research in medical and nutrition sciences is clearly indicating that diet has a greater role in health promotion and in desease aetiology and prevention than previously thought. Health and nutrition polices need to be formulated not only at national but also at European level.
