3rd International EuroConference on Advanced Semiconductor Devices and Microsystems 2000

Objective

The progress in semiconductor devices has an increasingly stronger impact upon the development of information sciences, communication and microsystem technologies. The Third International EuroConference on Advanced Semiconductor Devices and Microsystems 2000 (ASDAM 2000) represents a continuation of a traditional meeting for people involved in the theory, design, technology, production and application of novel semiconductor devices and microsystems. Main topics of interest are: Materials and technologies, Structures and devices, Modelling and characterization and Microsystems.

Microsystems technologies are among the most dynamically developed fields of the semiconductor industry with a bright industrial outlook. However, there are still only limited chances to spread results of the scientific work in this field. Therefore, in ASDAM 2000 this topic will be given a preference. The conference is traditionally preceded by a NEXUSPAN (Network of Excellence in Multifunctional Microsystems) session on microsystem technologies where tasks in promoting European industry and R&D in microsystems technologies are discussed. Numerous contributions from fascinating fields like micromaching or smart sensors technologies are expected to be submitted for the conference. Special significance of the ASDAM EuroConference is also given by considering its distinguish role in the Central/East-European region and this part of the Europe revitalisation prospects for electronics and high-tech industries.

Topic(s)

Calls for proposals are divided into topics. A topic defines a specific subject or area for which applicants can submit proposals. The description of a topic comprises its specific scope and the expected impact of the funded project.

Call for proposal

Procedure for inviting applicants to submit project proposals, with the aim of receiving EU funding.
