EuroConference "Nuclear Physics in Astrophysics"

Objective

Nuclear astrophysics is one of the most rapidly developing fields in physics. The objective of the proposed conference is to bring together experts in the field and young researchers entering this field, in order to exchange ideas, transfer knowledge and define further directions in the development of this field in Europe.
The discussion at the conference will center around the role played by nuclear physics in astrophysics processes. Recent advances in neutrino physics, nucleosynthesis, detection of extraterrestrial gamma and X-rays, and other subjects of current interests will be discussed at the conference.
An effort will be made to establish new collaborations between scientists in nuclear physics and astrophysics in order to develop research that will further our understanding of the laws of the Universe.

Fields of science (EuroSciVoc)

CORDIS classifies projects with EuroSciVoc, a multilingual taxonomy of fields of science, through a semi-automatic process based on NLP techniques. See: The European Science Vocabulary.
