Objective
Macromolecular crystallography (MC) permits the structure determination of the crystal structures of proteins, nucleic acids, viruses, etc.: it provides a deep insight into the living processes. Methods used in Macromolecular Crystallography are responsible for the success or the failure of the research and governs the economical aspects of this activity. This Euroconference is focused on the methods.
The aims are the following: a) accelerate the research in MC and simultaneously save resources; b) train young scientists, disseminate seminal concepts and techniques, facilitates the creation of Companies for Research and Scientific Services. The leader specialists of this area will be lecturers of the Conference: the state of the art and the most critical aspects of the scientific area will be presented and discussed.

Funding Scheme
Funding scheme (or “Type of Action”) inside a programme with common features. It specifies: the scope of what is funded; the reimbursement rate; specific evaluation criteria to qualify for funding; and the use of simplified forms of costs like lump sums.
