Objective
The AMDO'2000 (International Workshop on Articulated Motion and Deformable Objects) is a satellite event of the International Conference of Pattem Recognition ICPR2000). The Department of Computer Science of the Balearic Islands University, together with the technical commitee TC4 of the International Association for Pattern Recognition are organizing a joint workshop that will take place after the next ICPR in Barcelona. The workshop aims at promoting interaction and collaboration not only among researchers working directly in the area as covered by the Technical Commitee but also among those specialized in other related fields that use computer graphics or applications that combine synthetic and analitycal images. It is of particular interest to encourage links with research in areas of Computer Vision and Computer Graphics that share common problems and frequently use similar techniques
