Objective
"IVR 2003" purports to give Young Researchers from the European Union Member States and Associated States the Opportunity to participate in the XXI.IVR World Congress in Lund, Sweden, Aug. 12 - 18, 2003. The purpose of IVR is the promotion of legal and social philosophy at national and international level. The general topic of the World Congress is "Law and Politics, in Search of Balance"' The intention behind the Congress, as such, is the investigation into the role of general theories--in particular legal theory and legal philosophy--with respect to the presentation and teaching of the law.
Since YRs from European countries ought to be familiar with the mainstream concerning the complex relationship that obtains between law and politics, "IVR 2003" encourages YRs from both Member and Associated States to participate, at subsidized costs, in the XXI.IVR World Congress.
