Objective
Our laboratory began operation 1986 and has as its focal point a 6 DOF earthquake simulator (shaking table) of 15 tonne capacity, a rigid platform of 4x4m2, a reaction wall 10 MNm capacity, 6m height and 4 and 5m long and other mainly innovative testing rigs. A 64 and 16 channels high-resolution data acquisition systems functioning. The Simulator has a system for controlling the motion and recording the response of specimen tested on it. Our Facility is mainly dealing with Earthquake Engineering and Structural Dynamics problems. It is functioning within a pure earthquake engineering and structural dynamics research environment.
Application:
Applicants with interest in earthquake Engineering should apply in writing to the DIRECTOR of the laboratory Prof. Panayotis Gr. CARYDIS.

Funding Scheme
Funding scheme (or “Type of Action”) inside a programme with common features. It specifies: the scope of what is funded; the reimbursement rate; specific evaluation criteria to qualify for funding; and the use of simplified forms of costs like lump sums.
