Objective
The project poses the challenge of dealing with a common problem in the area of the countries of the European Community: the problem of socio-labor integration of women prisoners, the situation of the prisons throughout the European countries, the development of social and penitentiary policies and their effects in remobilization, the social and penal situation of the socially most vulnerable groups. With the present project we want to cover an area of study that takes in a European dimension setting out from the elaboration of a model of comparative analysis that allows for the elaboration of a framework of common theoretical reflection, an empirical analysis on the reality of the penitentiary populations of women for the elaboration of proposals and policies that will have and impact on the territory of the EU.
