EuroPanel user network

Objective

The EuroPanel is a hugely important source of data. Its potential value is not being realised. The consortium partners - already well used to working with each other - will provide services and facilities to all users. Our expertise will be made available to new users, to encourage much wider use of the data. Technical links between analysts will increase efficiency by reducing duplication of effort. The network will help researchers to find out about each other's research findings, and so stimulate growth in the quality as well as the quantity of outputs. It will contribute to the dissemination of ECHP-based research to policy makers at EU and national levels. While the network will develop the research infrastructure, the substantive research results likely to emerge across the ERA will also contribute conclusions highly relevant to 'societal and individual well-being'.
