Les lumieres de brindisi

Objective

Europe has always been a land of high immigration but this phenomenon is taking new dimensions for demographic and economic reasons. Within the next 50 years, Europe will need 47 millions immigrants to maintain its population and 100 millions if we take into account the whole Europe. This phenomenon will inevitably examine transform Europe's cultural identity. Canal+, a European TV group, wants to examine this crucial matter by organizing, for the first time ever, a huge operation involving all the channels (premium and thematic channels) of the Group on the entire European territory. Various events are intended: a meeting between intellectuals, artists and actors on the spot, concerts and programs shown on Internet, production and broadcast of documentaries. This Commission's assistance is requested for the last point.
