TECHNOLOGICAL AND ORGANIZATIONAL INNOVATION FOR THE PROTECTION OF THE ENVIRONMENT AND A BETTER EXPLOITATION OF RESOURCES

Objective

Undertaking and strengthening of SMEs operating in marginal areas, with particular attention to the tourism-environment binomial. Main objectives: to foster technological and organizational innovation; to define training profiles and paths at European level; to promote a European network (enterprises, associations, training bodies) in the field of environmental tourism.

MAIN DOMAIN OF INNOVATION:

Methodologies for the planning and management of training in the framework of human resource development. Study and experimentation of training paths increasingly concentrating on individual needs, by taking into account and encouraging current phenomena of aggregation.

TARGET GROUP(S):

Unqualified or less qualified. People working in SMEs. People who want to undertake their enterprise in this area or are involved - at full or part time - in SMEs.

OPERATING CONTEXT:

Technology transfer. Competitiveness. The fragmentary nature of supply in this area requires a productive re-organisation.

TECHNOLOGY:

Information and communication technologies. Environmental related technologies.

INVOLVEMENT WITH ENTERPRISES:

Training institute-enterprise cooperation.

INVOLVEMENT OF SOCIAL PARTNERS:

Joint social partnership steering/advisory groups.

RESULTS:

Transferable models and concepts. Training programmes/courses for advanced technologies. Information materials. A reference model to introduce technological/organisational innovation in an environment which is not fully "ready" to it.
