Objective
Innovation Relay Centre ( IRC) of Slovenia and National contact points (NCP) from the Ministry of Science and Technology of Republic of Slovenia identified the problem of many innovative companies in Slovenia which have interest for participation in the 5th FP but resign facing the complicated procedures of project preparation and proposal as well as management of financial accounting requested for an EU project. The consequence of this problem is that in Slovenia there are only about 18% of partners in EU projects from SMEs and industry. The solution of the problem is in the development of new type of seminars and workshops together with the appropriate manual as well as the tutorial computer program with the objective to clearly define and make the required procedures less complicated and more easy to implement. Thus, the objective of EFAMT project is to increase the participation of Slovenian SMEs and industry in the 5th FP.
