Objective
The nomination of the Institute of Genetic Engineering as a Centre of Excellence, will allow conducting of set of specific measures, adding essential opportunities to reach its goals:
-further development as a National Plant Biotech Centre for high
-output plant cell and molecular genetics research;
-to provide the expertise and to coordinate plant biotechnology activities in the country;
-to provide transfer of up-to-date plant biotechnologies and to cooperate with international research centres, universities, plant biotechnology companies.
