Excellence in molecular biotechnology - getting european dimension

Objective

IBB PAS is a research unit equipped with all facilities enabling for the work in biochemistry, chemistry, molecular biology and genetics using microorganisms, plants and cell cultures.
There are 37 professors, 156 other researchers(including postgraduate students) and 57 technicians working in the IBB. Intensive international collaboration substantially contributes to the high scientific level of IBB, which is recognised as an excellent national centre in molecular genetics.
