International workshop "chemical engineering methods for sustainable use of energy and raw materials"

Objective

The proposal concerns organization in Bulgaria of an International Workshop entitled "Chemical Engineering Methods for Sustainable Use of Energy and Raw Materials". The Workshop is planned to take place in the Black Sea Town of Snoopily in September 17/23, 2001. It will be arranged as a parallel event of the 9th International Summer School of Chemical Engineering and is expected to make use of its traditionally wide and young audience from CEEC and Nestle main objective of the event will be dissemination of the Community policy , in view of opening new partnerships, contract negotiation and integration of private companies. The work on the project will include recruitment of lecturers, selection and appointment of sponsored participants, subcontracting of technical arrangements to ensure an open forum of knowledge and experience on sustainable development resulting in enhanced participation in joint proposals for EC grants.
