Organisation of 15th international symposium on environmental biogeochemistry: "biogeochemical processes and cycling of elements in the environment", wroclaw, 11-15 september 2001

Objective

ISEB15 will be an interdisciplinary conference devoted to understanding the intricate physical, chemical and biological nature of the earth system as related to emerging environmental problems. ISEB conferences - each of them dealing with specific scientific area - gather geochemists, microbiologists, mineralogists, soil scientists, biologists and other professionals, who present their recent findings, that will stimulate progress in future research and technology. ISEB15 will focus on "Biogeochemical Processes and Cycling of Elements in the Environment". Conference contributions will be published in special issues of renowned international journals. Over 460 participants have registered for ISEB15, thus the conference will provide an excellent opportunity to create a closer co-operation between EU and CEEC/NIS countries.
