International conference on clean, efficient and safe urban transport

Objective

The objectives of this project include%l(1) reinforcing the proposing faculty's international and regional standing as a knowledge and technology provider for clean, efficient, and safe urban transport, and thus increasing its networking potential for joint participation in future FP6 projects,
(2) consolidation of the relegated regional S&T potential by attracting a number of co-organisers for the proposed event, and thus promoting co-operative attitudes in the region,
(3) integrating the regional efforts exercised by academia, local governments, and industry towards better acquisition and use of the Community funds for pre-accession and post-accession development and cohesion.
