Objective
To promote EU-Russia RTD co-operation it is proposed to create a sustainable basis for systemic interface activities aimed at creating awareness of FP5 in Russia and building relevant partnerships. It will be achieved by means of information support tools intended for partner search and consortium building, e.g. for the use by EU scientists (and English-language data base and a directory of Russian RTD units by FP5 thematic areas); identification and integration of efficient RTD units by FP5 thematic areas); identification and integration of efficient RTD networks; production and wide regular dissemination of EU RTD information, e.g. via a specially-tailored Russian Web-page on FP5 and CORDIS-based briefs. Assistance to Russian scholars in proposal preparation, contract negotiation and project management will be provided. A resulting CORDIS-compatible interface system will remain operable beyond the project termination.
