Objective
EU is Eostering the convergence between the European Research Area and the Mediterranean Research Area under construction and better synergies between the VFP and the MEDA Programme. The present project proposal is aimed at contributing to this process by organising a Meeting of High Representatives of RTD Institutions from the 15 EU States and 12 MPC plus Libya - that, thanks to the involvement of Euro-Med experts and on the basis of a Preparatory documentation-will provide the EC with broad lines and specific actions to better coordinate national policies with bilateral and multilateral initiatives of co-operation and find synergies between Community Programmes. Finally, it will agree and propose an action plan of RTD&I initiatives with a focus on implementing networking, mobility of researchers, training, innovation.
