Objective
The INCO project "HYDROMED" has raised a large interest among Mediterranean Research Institutes, a lot of which are not involved in the present research. This seminar will meet the following needs :
(i) Present the results to the non-involved countries and more generally speaking to the scientific community;
(ii) Give the opportunity to the scientists to gather information and debate the results in a large forum after 4 years of studies carried out by 10 scientific partners (4 from 4 EUC and 6 from 4 MPC);
(iii) set up the bases of a scientific network on small and medium hydraulic works at the time when the Mediterranean countries have achieved the building of large dams. These objectives will be fulfilled by holding the conference and publishing the proceedings .
