Objective
Improving water management under drought conditions reduces the necessity of new reservoirs, minimizes environmental impacts and can be considered fundamental for a sustainable development of drought-prone Mediterranean regions, both for semi-arid European countries and for North Africa and Near East countries. The proposed workshop aims to disseminate the results of the INCO-DC project "A DSS for mitigation of drought impacts in the Mediterranean regions "to a wider audience from several Mediterranean basin countries, in order to stimulate a better water resources management under drought conditions. A book presenting the results of the INCO-DC project will be printed and distributed during the meeting. The workshop will also promote new research partnerships among the partecipants.
