Addressing housing and health concerns of low-income urban populations based in inner-city sao paulo and johannesburg

Objective

As a result of participation in an EC-funded concerted action project ("Health and human settlements in Latin America "ERBIC18CT970224) three partners, one European, one African and one Latin American, propose: to compare and disseminate results nonliving conditions and health issues in inner-city, sub-divided housing in Sao Paulo and Johannesburg; to involve policy makers and local populations in the development of policy and programme recommendations and future research; and to develop joint proposals and publications. The main activity will be a workshop held in Johannesburg.
