Objective
The proposal has two components: Part 1 - The 'Red Cloud Tour' (23/08/02-30/08/02) Part 2 - The Workshop on 'Sustainable Highland Agriculture in S.E. Asia' (31/08/02-06/09/02) . The workshop will disseminate the research findings of the 'Sustainable Highland Agriculture in South-East Asia' Project to potential users and promote the practical applications of the research for improving the productivity of cropping techniques on fragile highland slopes in South-East Asia in a sustainable way. It will also target and integrate research users, policy-makers and the scientific research community. The Red Cloud Tour and Workshop will demonstrate. The value of participative approaches to agro-environmental researches. The value of an integrated approach to agro-environmental researches. Dissemination of novel and innovative techniques to improve productivity of corn in the highlands of South-East Asia.
