NETWORKED SOCIAL SCIENCE TOOLS AND RESOURCES

Objective

NESSTAR integrates and pursues work on computer networking, metadata structures and data and text browsing systems, to create a pioneering resource for regional, national and cross-national data to be exploited by researchers and policy-makers. The project will extend the ongoing integrated European Archives catalogue, and develop three self-contained modules of network-based tools, namely a browsing system to view documentation, a visualisation, browsing and basic data analysis system and a user authentication, data subsetting and delivery package. An extensive dissemination programme will ensure full utilization of the work by the research community.

Fields of science (EuroSciVoc)

CORDIS classifies projects with EuroSciVoc, a multilingual taxonomy of fields of science, through a semi-automatic process based on NLP techniques. See: The European Science Vocabulary.
