Objective
Several themes will be studied and developed in order to create effective tools: description of ordinary differential and partial differential equations in the frame of differential algebra; improvement of these techniques by developing the involutive approach, the use of truncated standard bases and differential Gröbner; algebraic and combinatorial study and computational theory of non-commutative algebra; Lie algebras, Lie groups, difference algebras, Weyl algebras, non-commutative differential calculus;differential algebra and Jet's theory, prolongations and symmetries of partial differential equations.
Specific actions will be implemented in the framework of this project including active participation at two international workshops on the themes of algebraic and geometric methods in differential systems and Lie computations.
Scientists from the NIS will be supported with a view to their participation in these workshops; mutual invitations and visits, collaborative projects and publications; participation in international workshop on new computer technology in control systems, including a project meeting; evaluation of the project, including analysis and synthesis, scientific report; and a study of perspectives.

Topic(s)
Calls for proposals are divided into topics. A topic defines a specific subject or area for which applicants can submit proposals. The description of a topic comprises its specific scope and the expected impact of the funded project.

Funding Scheme
Funding scheme (or “Type of Action”) inside a programme with common features. It specifies: the scope of what is funded; the reimbursement rate; specific evaluation criteria to qualify for funding; and the use of simplified forms of costs like lump sums.
