Objective
This research aims to define practical and methodical ways appropriate to restructuring and refunctionalizing the system of museums and libraries of St Petersburg University, including the operating and methodological instruments related to the safety, conservation and comfort requirements, and the filing and structuring of the bibliographic system with informatic instruments. Particular reference will be made to the means of the mediated consulting of the library's property and the paintings of particular value kept in the museums of the University and the Academy of Arts of St. Petersburg.
This research will define the operative and methodological instrumentation combined with the most advanced technology but at the same time compatible with Russian reality and requirements.
