Collisions of slow electrons with atoms, ions and molles

Objective

The complex experimental and theoretical investigations of the excitation dynamics of the valence, valence and outer filled electron shells of atoms, ions, diatomic and polyatomic molles in the collisions with slow electrons will be performed.
The role of resonances, new regularities and phenomena in dynamics of different collisional processes, the search for and the study of emissions related to the radiative decay of AIS, the new types of electron correlations in PCI-effect will be studied. The high resolution photo- and electron spectroscopy methods including an angle resolved electron spectroscopy such as an Auger-, an X-Ray photo-electron and electron energy-loss spectroscopy will be used.

The parameters of the negative ion states, AIS of atoms and ions, the wavelengths of new spectral lines related to the radiative decay of AIS, the energy dependences of differencial and total cross-sections for the different collisional processes as well as the excitation of AIS, elastic and inelastic scattering of slow monoenergetic electrons by ions will be obtained. The models for the adequate description of the strong PCI effects will be developed. The methods for the determination of fundamental constants will be proposed and tested. The recommendations on the accurate analysis of spectra obtained by the photoelectron and Auger electron spectroscopy will be given.

Programme(s)

Multi-annual funding programmes that define the EU’s priorities for research and innovation.

Topic(s)

Calls for proposals are divided into topics. A topic defines a specific subject or area for which applicants can submit proposals. The description of a topic comprises its specific scope and the expected impact of the funded project.

Call for proposal

Procedure for inviting applicants to submit project proposals, with the aim of receiving EU funding.

Funding Scheme

Funding scheme (or “Type of Action”) inside a programme with common features. It specifies: the scope of what is funded; the reimbursement rate; specific evaluation criteria to qualify for funding; and the use of simplified forms of costs like lump sums.
