Objective
It is planned to prepare non natural amino acids and their derivatives for their potential to initiate, biological activity. The innovative synthetic methodology will involve clean processes under mild conditions, especially via metal catalysis.
It is expected to produce new 5-, 6-, 7- membered cyclic, fluorine containing amino acids from prrsors with two alkene chains and via ruthenium and rhodium-catalyzed ring forming olefin metathesis. It is also expected to reach phosphonic gamma-amino acids derivatives containing alkyne groups, via palladium- catalyzed alkoxy carbonylation of alkynes and ruthenium and palladium-catalyzed additions of pronucleophiles derivatives of phosphonic acids. The development of the project will allow the creation of new methodology for both organic synthesis and catalysis, the design of new Ru, Rh, Pd catalysts and the understanding of new catalytic processes.
The project will also contribute to the training of NIS laboratories (Russia, prrsors of polyfunctional ligands . It will offer to our scientific community new synthetic and catalytic methods and molles of useful biological activity. It will propose their rational use in the science technology medecine and agriculture.

Funding Scheme
Funding scheme (or “Type of Action”) inside a programme with common features. It specifies: the scope of what is funded; the reimbursement rate; specific evaluation criteria to qualify for funding; and the use of simplified forms of costs like lump sums.
