A targeted actIoN to encourage the participation of aerospace SMEs to the community programmes

Objective

The overall aim of the proposed action is to stimulate technology growth and development of the European aerospace SMEs by identifying technology trends in their primary (aerospace) and related markets by actively assisting them to identify viable technology based business opportunities in order to access supporting EU RTD Programmes and facilitate their participation. The expected results are to enable SMEs to present proposal to the EC, including Exploratory Awards and RTD innovation projects. The consortium includes European companies leader in technology transfer from aerospace to other sectors, the national associations of aerospace SMEs, and the national contact points and innovation relay centres in the relevant countries. The action will be spread from British, Italian, German, French, Swedish, and Spanish aerospace companies to other European SMEs.
