Objective
The proposed Accompanying Measure aims at strengthening a restricted group of European SMEs who have developed innovative technologies for electronic chip manufacturing and control. These SMEs are capable of performing adaptive development of such technologies to meet needs outside their core market, in association with other industrial partners (SMEs and/or larger firms). Thus, they will become less sensitive to demand fluctuations within their main sector of activity through proper exploitation links in 6 countries (Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, The Netherlands, U.K.). Six consulting firms, with the help of the national contact points, will provide the support to build at least 12 CRAFT or RTD proposals, yielding new applications in promising sectors of growth, using an audit and project build-up toll based on the Euro-management procedures.
