Structured Analysis of the SMEs Innovation needs based on the Market requirements

Objective

INASMET had a 50% success rate in identifying SMEs with the potential to work with the CRAFT Programme during FP4. INASMET used an innovative and practical approach, focus in highlighting the real SME business needs and studying how the CRAFT Programme could resolve them. The main objective of this project is to improve and design the new methodology and implement it in three European countries (Spain, France and UK). European project partners will approach SMEs with the new methodology showing them how CRAFT can assist in their business problems and developments. Very good results are expected if the project implementation confirms the success of the new approach. Research Institutions, National CRAFT points and SMEs will have access to the new tool to maximise the European benefits.
