Objective
FEUPF is a federation uniting florists in Europe: 16 national associations in the EU, EFTA and Eastern Europe. Florists are 'micro' enterprises with limited computer experience. We want to promote "e-commerce", by stimulating its use and R&D. Existing e-commerce applications are either too complicated or costly for us. Therefore it is envisaged to develop tailor-made applications within Craft. Participants are six associations, selected throughout Europe: Denmark, Germany, Hungary, Italy, the Netherlands and Switzerland.
Phases of our project are:
1. Desk research and benchmarking (USA, Europe and other sectors);
2. Describing tailor-made e-commerce modules; options and SWOT-analysis;
3. Kick-off meeting with six participating national coordinators;
4. National sessions: discussing needs, ideas and options with 120 florists;
5. Country reports: 7 reports and presentations/workshops;
6. General dissemination and preparation of one or more Craft projects.
