Objective
BEN-TEX project aims at creating a sectoral-targeted benchmarking database with critical information about the management of technology within textile companies. The activities foreseen use existing methodological frameworks to accommodate objectives that span the case of technology management, best practice demonstration and focused intervention into SMEs specific problems. The liaison of the main areas of technology constraints to be identified with the research topics supported by EU is expected to form a " SMEs roadmap" towards the best-suited FP5actions. BEN-TEX Consortium is constructed upon already operating infrastructures across Europe such as Textile Thematic Group of IRCs and EURATEX, combining an accumulated technical expertise, a powerful dissemination network and a wide geographical coverage.
