The European Textile industry business-to-business portal of management and consulting services

Objective

SMEs play a fundamental role on the European economy, particularly in the fashion industry. This sector was hit over the last years. SMEs in particular have suffered major disadvantages when compared to large companies.

Small and medium entrepreneurs are often self-made men who lack the culture of a systematic approach to decision making. Even when this is not the case, finding the right information and using it is a very difficult task, mostly beyond the reach of SMEs.

The proposed project aims to build a web portal for management services to the fashion sector. Services will be structured in marketing intelligence, optimising tools and other management support systems.
A consortium has been formed (an international team of specialists in different areas) for this project.
