PAssive LOng distance Multiple Access high Radio frequency identification system

Objective

Developing a low cost effective long-range passive RFID system solution for worldwide use, especially under existing EU radio limitations. Target application: Pilot installation within the paper industry.

-Frequency: UHF (868/915MHz) / 2,45GHz;
-Operating distance for worldwide use: 4m @ 868MHz with 0,5W ERP; frequency independent solution;
-Anti-Collision: reading up to 100 Tags at the same time in the field;
-Memory: Read/write memory (EEProm).

Work description:
ISO efforts: The consortium decided to push the ISO 18000-6 standardization. An own submission - addressing the GTAG needs - is ongoing. To enable high volume mass markets the consortium decide to offer the IPs as license free for the mandatory commands.
