Objective
The aim of this project is to establish a network of European platforms enabling academic and industrial institutions to execute advanced research projects in order to experimentally validate new research ideas and concepts and to study their industrial feasibility. Such initiative will be correctly positioned in regard of the industrial needs as mapped on the industrial roadmap (ITRS). The long term European competitiveness in microelectronics depends on advanced research activities. In many cases, however, the researchers are lacking
