Objective
e-PHARM-UP best practice application is aimed at testing on field and fully demonstrate an e-Commerce solution for pharmaceutical sector in Eastern Countries, with particular attention to the Romanian Marketplace.
The main objectives of the e-PHARM-up project are:
- To test and fully demonstrate an E-business application allowing to create an electronic marketplace for the Romania pharmaceutical sectors. This technology has been developed in an ESPRIT project where a e-PHARM-up consortium partner was involved;
- To integrate the E-business solution with a change management process for the pharmaceutical marketplace in Romania, fostering an early and broad adoption of newly ITC solutions in Eastern Countries through this demonstration project;
- To fully test and demonstrate the e-PHARM-up solution in a real pharmaceutical marketplace, mainly based in Romania, made by the users partners of the project (the biggest Romanian pharmaceutical vendor - it will act as one of the project catalyst), 1 medium-large net of Romanian pharmacies and 1 medium large Romanian wholesalers;
- To fully exploit the e-PHARM-up solution by means of the preferential channel of the 3 projects catalysts (the biggest Romanian vendor and one medium large IT company from Italy) in other eastern countries.
