Objective
AMEF 2 aims at providing an analysis of Microsystems activities launched within the Microsystems part of EUROPRACTICE. Work already realized on the existing AMEF 1 project within EUROPRACTICE, will be extended to improve the quality of the analysis through better data collection methods and the participation of four experts in Microsystems business. AMEF 2 will collect and analyse information from all Service Providers of EUROPRACTICE 4.The project will promote the EUROPRACTICE Microsystems activity by participating to the regular EUROPRACTICE workshops and transferring data to AWARDEV for dissemination.
Objectives:
Main objectives of the project are:
1. To collect and analyse Microsystems activities of EUROPRACTICE from 1996 to 2005;
2. To improve the quality of analysis with the four experts help. Business and commercial inputs will provide significant added value to the analysis;
3. To disseminate the result of the in-depth analysis and promote EUROPRACTICE Microsystems activities and facilitate their broader application and take-up.
Work description:
The main task of the project will be to generate a comprehensive analysis of Microsystems activities, which have been created by EUROPRACTICE since 1996 and establish the correlation with Microsystems business trends.
The work plan consists of 6 workpackages defined as follows:
WP1: Specifications and construction of the new database- Taking into account previous experience gained in AMEF 1:
WP1 is dedicated to the improvement of the tools used in the previous project;
WP2: Data collection- Every 6 months, information from all EP4 supplier members will be collected. Consistency of data will have to be checked and analysis to be prepared;
WP3: Analysis of EP1 to EP4 Microsystems activities. Every 6 months, collected data will be analysed with the help of experts involved in industrial, business, commercial activities and transfer of technologies in Microsystems fields;
WP4: Analysis reports. Every 12 months provide the synthesis of in-depth analyses. Three intermediate analysis reports will also be provided;
WP5: Dissemination: Transfer information to AWARDEV for dissemination.- Present and discuss WP4 results during each EUROPRACTICE workshop;
WP6: Project Management and coordination of the task planned in the project.
Milestones:
The main milestones of the proposal are the establishment of a measure of success and analysis of EUROPRACTICE IV micro system activities together with the added-value of four experts in industrial activities, market analysis and technology transfer. Provide AWARDEV with the results of the analysis to promote EUROPRACTICE activities and present those results during the workshop organized by AWARDEV for EUROPRACTICE suppliers.
