Objective
The objective of our work is to produce an integrated system for the measurement, interpretation and recording of chronic wounds with which to improve the targeting and management of their treatment. This will reduce patient suffering and healthcare cost.
Work description:
The Work will incorporate the following processes: Innovative development of a vision system with built in co-ordinate management system for reliable automatic discrimination and measurement of the major wound physical features such as depth and granularity.
Milestones:
The key milestones are Build the Neural Net system - month 6;
Novel E-nose operational by month 11;
Vision system working by month 12;
With a fully functioning prototype system starting final validation trials month 19.
