Development project concerning efficient counterflow heat exchanger and energy efficient ventilation system

Objective



The SMEs, Frederiksberg Housing Company, DK, TemoVex, DK, and EBOR, DE, areworking together with Denmarks Technical University in order to develop a superefficient counterflow heat exchanger as a main component of an energy efficientventilation system - combined with utilization of healthy building materials.More detailed the following elements will be developed: a) Optimizedoperation strategy b) Reduction/elimination of noise c) Elimination of coldbridges d) Integration as a part of the ventilation system e) utilizationof the concept in building renovation activities. It is the aim to carry out apilot project in Copenhagen. The heat recovery efficiency of the system is 80%.
