Objective
The scientific and technical objectives of this research proposal concern developing a new type of greenhouse with a heat consumption of only 30% of normal consumption in traditionaluninsulated greenhouses. This aim shall be reached through high insulating mobile screens combined with solarenergy stored in rainwater reservoirs. Research is necessary to optimize the Low Energy Consumption LEC greenhouse and to investigate the possibilities of storing solar energy.
