Objective
The objectives of the project are : 1. To feed with electricity and heat, produced by an hybrid wind-diesel generator, a seawater desalinator working on the principle of distillation under vacuum. 2. To make the desalination plant autonomous and completly independant of the electrical grid. 3. To allow, by using a telemonitored control system, the supervision of the plant without the permanent presence of specialists on the site. 4. To demonstrate the reliability and economical rentability by the use of renewable energy. 5. To investigate the possibility ofimplanting the wind generator offshore in order to benefit of the high wind regimes and installing the complete process in a remote area.
