Objective
The main objective of the projects is the design of the equipment demanded at present in the photovoltaic systems area: isolated solar irrigation, isolated solar house and solar house connected to the utility grid (as extension of the present project) in a 5 to 10 Kw power range. The principal characteristics of the equipment to develop will be: connection to an only set of solar cells, development of a flexible modular multipurpose unit useful, with small modifications, in either case, integration of both as a hybrid unit for optimum energy management in joint operation. Under the industrial and technological point of view, the most relevant aspects will be: use of multiprocessing architectures through DSP's for real time control, endowed of autodiagnosis and user and superuser interface, anticipated for a totally autonomous operation. In the economic aspect, the use of an only set of cells capitalises the investment, on the other hand, the tracking and the optimization in management maximise produced energy. Finally, the characteristics of autodiagnosis, autotest and remote control, reduce the manufacture and maintenance costs. In when to the social objectives fits to emphasise the following: to give solution to a high demand of these equipment, to facilitate its employment through a totally autonomous operation and to obtain the maximum economic profitability. Finally, to give an idea of the methodology employed in the development of the project, to emphasise that its duration will be 1 year and along of which will be established the design specifications, will be used functional simulation tools designed "ad hoc" and hardware simulation, will be designed the prototypes and will be proceeded to its test in laboratory and in field.

Funding Scheme
Funding scheme (or “Type of Action”) inside a programme with common features. It specifies: the scope of what is funded; the reimbursement rate; specific evaluation criteria to qualify for funding; and the use of simplified forms of costs like lump sums.
