Exploitable results Advanced Windows Information System-WIS The objective of the project was to pro-duce a multi-purpose European information tool to determine the thermal and solar characteristics of advanced windows. The tool should contain component properties and calculation rou-tines on components and their ther-mal/ optical interactions in a window. The context of the project was the poor availability of an information tool which could be used by various organisations to help with aspects relating to windows design.
