Exploitable results
Research has been carried out into the development of advanced online sensors (humidity, mass flow, particle concentration) which will allow etter control of industrial processes, so leading for example to energy savings.
So fat two sensors have been successfully developed, i.e. a Coriolis mass flow meter for use with granular materials and a laser doppler flow meter for liquids having low flow rates e.g. for medical and pharmaceutical applications. Progress is well advanced on the development of advanced humidity sensors.
