Objective
Principally to facilitate the decision of the Palestinian Authorities in charge of the Environment and Territory Planning in their management of the soil resource and in the adoption of environmentally sustainable development policies of land use. To reach this objective, the project will implement an inventory of the soil resources of West Bank and Gaza Strip, create a technical/operational self-sufficient local structure, the Soil Office, able to take care of soil survey and soil mapping by using a holistic approach and train (on the job and in Italy) Palestinian experts to be assigned to the Soil Office.
