Real time measure and management of the effect of a pollution on water quality

Objective

The project AQUAPOL pursues three major objectives: to enable a dynamic automated management of the measures and the alarms, to optimise the daily management of the network and to ensure the exploitation and diffusion of information. It will also make it possible : - to centralise the data's and to make use of statistical tools to automate the validation of results and the detection of alarms; - to inform the external intervention centres and the actors linked to the territory development, making use of the best suited transmission means ; - to speed up the decision process and to establish a pre-diagnosis with the assistance of a database of relations between a measured pollution and the neighbouring enterprises; - to analyse and to predict the effect on other rivers; - to have at disposal analysis tools and data spread over time, and to create dynamic reports and comparative tables; - to be a first implementation of an environmental dashboard; - and finally, to disseminate information to all involved actors using the Internet network, offering static or dynamic consultation.

The project AQUAPOL will offer an automated management tool for measures and alarms based on an existing network of surface water measure stations; it will allow to speed up the decision process and the communication of information to the intervention centres; it will offer an environmental dashboard for a real time management of the environment; it will allow dissemination and exploitation of information via Internet.
