Objective
The project consists of a consortium of companies and research organisations working together to research, design and develop tools for subsea use in diverless operation. Prototypes will be developed that will demontrate the practicality of the engineering principles which result from the project. The tools will attach to the robot arm of ROV's and AUV's engaged in subsea exploration and exploitation, particularly in the transition toward deepsea working. This will increase the range of tasks able to be perfomed by the submersibles and in doing so will reduce costs of subsea activity, speed up operations, reduce risk to the environment and provide EU SME's with world class products.
