Objective
ELIMINATION OF POTENTIAL DANGER CAUSED BY MINERAL AND HANGINGWALL ROCK LANDSLIDE; ENVIRONMENT CONDITIONS AND PRODUCTIVITY ARE THEREFORE IMPROVED.
COMPARAISON BETWEEN THE MINING STRESS STATE WHICH OCCURS WITH THE TRADITIONAL MINING METHOD (CALLED UPWARD CROSSING) AND THE ONE WHICH OCCURS WITH THE METHOD OF "DOWNWARD HORIZONTAL SLICES AND HANGINGWALL ROCK CONCENTRATE BACKFILLING" (CALLED DOWNWARD CROSSING) REGARDED AS INVARIABLE.
BECAUSE OF THE LAYER IRREGULARITY, REPEATED PHASES WILL TAKE PLACE AND THE RESEARCH WILL BE DEVELOPED ON SEVERAL LEVELS; THE TIME REQUIRED WILL THEREFORE BE RATHER LONG.
ONE PHASE WILL BE DEVOTED TO THE DETERMINATION OF THE STRESS STATE AT THE DIFFERENT MINING DEPTHS IN AREAS MINED WITH THE "UPWARD" METHOD. THE REMAINING PHASES, CYCLICAL AND REPEATED, WILL BE AS FOLLOWS :
- SYSTEMATIC SURVEY OF THE STRESS STATE IN THE ROCKS SURROUNDING THE MINING SITE IN AN AREA MINED WITH THE DOWNWARD METHOD.
- COMPARAISON OF THE STRESS STATES WHICH OCCUR WITH THE "UPWARD" METHOD. THE REMAINING SITE IN AN AREA MINED WITH THE DOWNWARD METHODS.
- OPTIMIZATION OF THE PROBLEM SECTION OF MINING-TIMBERING
- INTRODUCTION, IF POSSIBLE, OF NEW MINERAL YARD VENTILATION CONCEPTS.
- INTRODUCTION, IF POSSIBLE, OF MORE POWERED MACHINES
- CHECKING OF THE PRODUCTIVITY INCREASES FORECASTS, OF TIMBERING COMSUMPTION REDUCTION, OF MINERAL YARDS ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS IMPROVEMENTS.
A MATHEMATICAL MODEL SUFFICIENTLY REPRESENTATIVE OF THE STREES BEHAVIOUR BOTH WITH THE TRADIZIONAL METHOD AND THE PROPOSED ONE WILL BE DEVELOPED.
