INNOVATION MANAGEMENT TECHNIQUES - ICELAND

Objective

The main objective of the project is to introduce the original Norwegian BUNT/FRAM methodology to consultants and the SME environment in Iceland as a tool to promote and conduct innovation.

The intention of promoting BUNT/FRAM methodology to consultants and SMEs in Iceland is to transfer successful innovation management techniques to the SMEs during the programme to be used on a continuous basis. The BUNT/FRAM methodology provides an overall business view of a company and then assists in reducing costs, increasing its efficiency and in becoming more customer oriented. Eventually, the methodology is acquitted by the company so that it can continue using it in the future.

In more detail 15 Innovation Consultancy Assignments will be carried in Icelandic SMEs, by 10 trained consultants. The results will be disseminated networking with some Accompanying Measures. The dissemination activities will include information meetings for consultants and SMEs, 2 seminars, some press release and distribution of promotional material.
